  • Gym owners and staff using the B2B gym management platform

  • Customers and individuals using the B2C wellness mobile application

By using WellVantage products, you agree to this policy.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Gyms are solely responsible for obtaining user consent before uploading any personal or sensitive information.

  • Users are responsible for verifying any AI-generated advice and using the app at their own discretion.

  • WellVantage acts only as a technology platform, not liable for how gyms or users use, manage, or act on the data.

3. Information We Collect

For Gyms:

  • Gym name, address, contact information

  • Staff and admin info: names, roles, emails, phone numbers

  • Member data: contact details, attendance, plan info, notes

For App Users:

  • Name, email, gender, fitness preferences, and wellness data

  • Optional health metrics (e.g., weight, mood, meals, workouts)

  • Location data if permission granted

  • Usage data, app interactions, linked gym data (if applicable)

4. How We Use Data

  • To operate the platform and its core features

  • To allow gyms to manage members, leads, and attendance

  • To support wellness tracking features like workouts and meal logging

  • To process payments via third parties (Stripe, Razorpay, UPI)

  • To send app or WhatsApp notifications (which users can opt out of)

  • To improve functionality and security

  • To analyse anonymised or aggregated data for business insights

5. AI-Powered Features

AI insights (e.g., food macros, workout suggestions) are informational only.
They may be inaccurate or incomplete. Users must confirm data and act at their own risk.
WellVantage disclaims all liability for any AI-driven advice or action.

6. Third-Party Integrations

We integrate with third parties like:

  • Payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay)

  • Biometric attendance devices (ESSL)

  • Health data platforms (Google Fit, Apple Health)

We do not control how third-party services use data. Users and gyms should review their policies separately.

7. Data Ownership & Liability

  • Gyms own and control all member data they upload.

  • WellVantage does not take responsibility for how gyms use that data.

  • Any misuse, breach, or failure to obtain proper consent is the gym’s liability.

  • Users who link with a gym consent to sharing limited data with that gym (e.g., attendance, contact).

8. Security

  • Data is hosted securely on AWS servers.

  • We implement standard encryption and access control.

  • Absolute security is not guaranteed; users accept associated risks.

9. Data Retention

  • We retain data only as long as needed for platform functionality or legal compliance.

  • Users may delete accounts; some anonymised or required records may still be retained.

  • Gyms cannot request deletion of WellVantage system-level data.

10. User Communication

  • Notifications are sent for feature updates, reminders, or marketing.

  • Users can opt out of marketing messages via settings.

  • WellVantage is not responsible for content or impact of automated notifications.

11. Legal Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
